The matte black finish looks almost like polished stone and doesn't show fingerprints the way glossy handles do. It's become my go-to for scooping sorbet straight from the pint on hot afternoons, and the shape actually holds a decent bite without dripping everywhere.

I was worried the matte finish would feel cheap, but the horn-shaped bowl is actually perfectly balanced for scooping gelato without dripping. It's become my go-to for weekend desserts, and it cleans up in seconds under warm water.

The horn handle has a nice weight in the hand, heavier than my old stainless sorbet spoons, and it doesn't get cold like metal does. Only reason it's not five stars is the matte black shows every little smudge from handling.
