I've been using this for my morning oatmeal and the deep matte finish hides stains way better than my old glossy bowls. The large size is perfect for a full serving of soup without worrying about spills.

The ebony glaze looks almost black in low light but shows a nice matte brown in daylight, which I didn't expect from the photos. It's heavier than my other ceramic bowls, so I mostly keep it out for fruit rather than everyday cereal. Wish the large size came as a set of two.
