ALESSI Mattina - Bread box dark grey

The bamboo lid is perfect for slicing a baguette without needing a separate board, and the dark grey finish gives it a sleek, understated look on my counter. I’ve been using it for a week now and the bread stays fresh much longer than in the plastic bag I used before.

I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the bamboo lid feels — it doubles nicely as a small cutting board for cheese and crackers. The only thing I'd note is that the box is a bit smaller than I expected for a family of four, but it still holds a full loaf with room to spare.

The dark grey finish hides bread crumbs surprisingly well between uses. I do wish the bamboo lid locked in place a bit more securely when cutting, but it's a stylish and functional piece overall.
