CHILEWICH Crane – Set van 4 placemats (honing)

The weave has this lovely subtle texture that catches the light differently depending on where you sit. I dropped a glass of red wine on one and it wiped clean without a trace, which was a relief. These placemats feel sturdy but not stiff, just right for everyday use.

The honey tone is warmer and richer than what I saw on screen, and the woven pattern adds a nice tactile feel without being too busy. I've been using them for a week and they wipe clean easily after dinner. Definitely a solid upgrade over my old fabric placemats.

The woven texture is really nice in person—it adds a subtle depth that photos don't fully capture. The honey color is warm without being too loud, and they clean up easily with a quick wipe.
