This combination stone, designed for sharpening knives, is recommended not only for Kai Shun knives, but also for other professional knives.  The stone restores virtually all knives (except knives with serrated edge), and the process requires submersion in water for 10 to 15 minutes before use. The stone is coarse grade (300) on one side to eliminate small defects and restore the edge, and fine grade (1000) on the other side to enhance the knife edge for a sharp finish.   Dimension: H18.4cmxL6.2cmxW2.8cm Material: Ceramic Reference: DM0708

Nicholas ★★★★★

I was skeptical about a combo stone working well, but the 300 grit side made quick work of a dull chef's knife before the 1000 grit left a razor finish.

Amelia O. ★★★★★

Finally got my knives properly sharp again after struggling with a pull-through sharpener for years. The 300 grit side makes short work of any nicks, then the 1000 side brings back a razor edge in just a few minutes.

Harper B. ★★★★★

The 300/1000 grit combo is perfect for taking a dull knife from scratched to razor-sharp in one session. I was surprised how quickly the ceramic bond cut through the steel, and the stone barely needs soaking. My chef's knife feels brand new again, and the edge held up through a whole week of prep.
