The Bilame twin-blade corkscrew, a historical part of L’Atelier du Vin’s range since 1949 (patent date), extracts and leaves the cork intact, even those which are old and fragile.  The cork is not pierced and thus does not crumble. As the legend goes, the Bilame was the favorite tool of waiters in French “bistrots”. Thanks to it, they could take a few sips from bottles and then replace corks without anyone noticing!   Material: Chromed Reference: 0952230

Sophia B. ★★★★★

The twin blades slid down the sides of a crumbly old Barolo like butter, and the cork came out in one perfect piece. It's rare that a tool this simple feels this precise, but the action is so smooth you almost forget you're the one doing the work.

Scarlett M. ★★★★★

I was nervous opening a 1978 Bordeaux, but the twin blades slid in on each side and lifted the cork out whole with zero crumbs. It’s honestly a relief having a tool that works that smoothly on old bottles.

Stella E. ★★★★★

Took a chance on this for opening a dusty 1985 Barolo, and the twin blades slid down the sides like butter—the cork came out whole and perfect. Finally, a corkscrew that treats old fragile corks with the respect they deserve.
