I was a little worried it might look bulkier in person, but the weave is tight and the lid keeps everything out of sight. It's holding a stack of quilts in my bedroom right now, and the handwoven Kenyan feel gives the corner a warm, grounded look.

The lid fits snugly enough that my living room finally looks tidy even with a mountain of blankets stuffed inside. You can tell it's handwoven—each strand has its own little character.

I was honestly surprised by how much weight this basket holds — I stuffed it with three thick blankets and the lid still closes flush. The weaving is tight and even, and the size is perfect for tucking into a corner. It feels sturdy enough to last years, which is rare for something handmade.
