Letting a young cabernet breathe in this for an hour completely changed the glass — way smoother and the tannins softened right up. The hand-blown glass has a really nice weight to it too, feels sturdy without being clunky.

The wide base gives the wine so much more room to breathe, and I noticed the difference in a young cabernet within twenty minutes. Being hand-blown, mine has a slight ripple in the glass that catches the light nicely. Rinses clean too, no lingering residue.

Had this out at a dinner party last weekend and honestly, the hand-blown glass feels almost too delicate to be this sturdy. Watching the wine hit that wide base and swirl around made the whole table stop and stare. It's a proper centerpiece that does its job.
