MARIAGE FRÈRES 漆器隔熱墊 - 紅色茶壺座

The woven silk over the wooden core gives it a texture I keep running my fingers over, way nicer than plain plastic stands. It sits steady under my heaviest cast iron pot and the lacquer hasn't picked up a single scratch.

The deep red lacquer is even more striking in person, and the woven silk surface gives it a refined, handcrafted feel. It's the perfect size for my teapot, and the weight keeps it steady on the table.

I bought this mostly for the look, but it actually does its job — the lacquer wipes clean in one swipe when tea drips on it. The wooden core feels solid too, no wobble under a full pot.
