I was a little worried the ash wood would look too rustic for my modern kitchen, but the clean lines and low 2.8cm profile make it blend in perfectly anywhere I set it down. It’s sturdy enough for daily keys-and-mail duty, and the finish has held up nicely against a couple of coffee spills.
