為何定期清潔很重要
真空壺的保溫能力取決於內外壁之間的真空密封。咖啡油脂、牛奶殘留或礦物沉積雖不影響真空本身，但會 trapped 異味並在壺內促進細菌生長。定期清潔可保持飲品風味新鮮，延長壺的使用壽命。
EVA SOLO Nordic Kitchen 真空壺採用 shock-proof 且 robust 的不鏽鋼內層，但黑色塑膠外觀及橡木把手需要更溫和的呵護。嚴厲的 abrasives 或洗碗機 cycles 可能損壞 finish 及木質部分。
應避免的事項
切勿將整壺浸入水中——真空密封位於壁內，但把手和蓋子可能含有 exposed 的木質或 moving parts，可能 swelling 或 corroding。避免在 stainless steel 內層使用 bleach、chlorine-based 清潔劑及 metal scrubbers。對於橡木把手，請以 damp cloth 擦拭並立即乾燥；無需 oil treatments。
逐步清潔與保養
- 使用後立即 rinse： 清空任何殘留液體，並以 warm water rinse 壺。這可防止 coffee oils 或 tea tannins 乾燥並 sticking 到 interior。 立即 rinse 可省去後續 scrubbing。
- 以 mild soap 及 soft brush 清洗： 使用一滴 dish soap、warm water 及 long-handled bottle brush 或 soft sponge。觸及壺的底部及 sides。請勿使用 abrasive pads 或 steel wool。 Bottle brushes 比 sponges 更 gentle，且能觸及所有 surfaces。
- 以 baking soda 去除 stains 及 odors： 將壺 filled 以 warm water，並加入 2 tablespoons 的 baking soda。讓其 sit 約 15–20 minutes，然後 gently scrub 並 thoroughly rinse。對於 stubborn coffee 或 tea stains，可重複或使用 baking soda 與 water 的 paste。 Baking soda 對 stainless steel 安全，且能 neutralize odors 而不留下 residue。
- 以 white vinegar 進行 deep-clean 以去除 mineral buildup： 若注意到 white deposits 或 metallic smell，將壺 filled 以 1:3 的 white vinegar 與 water 溶液。讓其 soak 約 30 minutes，然後以 clean water 多次 rinse。請勿每月使用 vinegar 超過一次。 Vinegar 可 dissolve limescale，但若 overused 可能 dull the finish。
- 將蓋子打開，徹底 dry： Rinsing 後，將壺 inverted 置於 drying rack 或 towel 上。保持蓋子 off 及 pour spout open 以允許 airflow。內部 trapped 的 moisture 可能導致 mold 或 stale smells。 切勿 reassemble 一個 damp 壺；務必在完全 dry 時才 store。
- 保養橡木把手及 exterior： 以 damp cloth 擦拭橡木把手，並立即 dry。對於 black plastic body，使用 soft cloth 及 mild soap。避免 soaking 把手或將壺 placed 在 dishwasher 中。 Wood 需要 quick drying 以防止 cracking 或 warping。
