MARIAGE FRÈRES 漆器隔熱墊 - 黑色茶壺座

The silk covering has a subtle sheen that looks way nicer in person than I expected. I use it under my glass teapot every evening and it protects the wood table from heat marks. Feels genuinely handcrafted.

I set my cast iron pot on this every morning so it doesn't scorch the table, and it works perfectly. The silk woven over the wood feels surprisingly smooth, and the black lacquer still looks new after months of daily use.

The woven silk texture feels almost velvety under the teapot, and I love how the hand-crafted lacquer gives it a subtle, refined sheen on my table. It’s sturdy enough that I don’t worry about heat marks, and it’s become a small daily ritual just setting the pot down on it.
